Eggplant- Week 28

This week you are the size of an eggplant! You are about 1.5-2.5 pounds and measure 13.6-14.8 inches. Your putting on layers of fat and your skin is becoming smoother and less wrinkled. Your lungs could survive on the outside (but you won't really be ready until July- keep growing in there!) Your eyes can now open and close and sense changes to light. A pretty normal week, minus the nosebleeds that have started. Almost every day- a wonderful side effect of more blood flow. I just keep tissues with me at all times and I put coconut oil in my nose to help keep it moist. (Yes, I am snorting coconut oil). This week the stretch marks started to show- very little but he has claimed me as his! I have started Vitamin E oil and coconut oil along with some essential oils that should help reduce them. I really don't mind too much- a rite of passage I suppose. Earlier this week I thought I had more to say- I guess now it wasn't that important. Did I mention my brain is losing power as well? I will be glad for Stephen to be home- one more week and then I have someone to help pick things off the floor and remind me to eat :) Not to mention I really miss him this time around.

I was looking back through old pictures- and wow I didn't realize how big I had gotten until I looked at these pics! Grow baby grow! How Far Along: 28 weeks
