Prune- Week 10
This week you are the size of a prune! You are about 1.2 inches long and weight just 0.14 oz. Your bones and cartilage are starting to form and your vital organs are beginning to function. It is crazy but your body length will almost double in the next 3 weeks! Your arm joints are now working and you are moving them around (think baby YMCA).
This week was awesome!! We got to hear your heartbeat with the Doppler on Thursday! Best Christmas present!! Stephen had eye surgery so I had to do all the driving to Iowa- you are not a fan of sitting in the car for long periods of time. I am starting to feel better- the nausea is definitely getting better, more sporadic and I am starting to feel a little less tired. I can still tell when I need to eat/have some protein. Hearing your fast, strong heartbeat (about 150 bpm) was by far the best sound I have every heard! Stephen was able to go with me and thought it was pretty awesome too! I can't wait for the next time we get to hear it (at our next baby appointment). How Far Along:10 weeks
Total Weight Gain: 10 pounds. This worries me but the midwives say its all looking good!
Maternity Clothes: LOVE THEM! Who ever tells you not to wear maternity clothes is a stick to begin with.
Stretch Marks:not that I've noticed
Sleep:happening, up around 5-5:30 on schedule to use the bathroom
Best Moment This Week: hearing your heartbeat!!!!
