Grapefruit- Week 23

This week you are the size of a grapefruit! You are 10.5-11.8 inches long and weigh 12.7 to 20.8 ounces. You are getting cuter! You're ears are starting to develop and your face and eyes are forming. You are also more aware- listening to our voices, my heartbeat and other sounds. You are starting to move when you hear familiar things.

I have started to play your "lullaby" and hum it to you and you react- with movement and by calming down. When Stephen plays techno music you like to dance along- truly your father's child! Life is getting a little trickier now that the belly is getting bigger. I never realized how many things I place against my belly or how many things I lean my belly into. He is NOT a fan of that! I have been teaching a friend massage and it definitely takes some getting used to. This weekend we babysat our friends' 7 month old while they took their 3 year old to her first concert (lucky girl my first concert wasn't until 17 or so!) He is such a happy chill baby- loved his jumper and easily took a bottle and went down for bed. Hoping our little one will be just as chill! Of course Abel loved Stephen- he was just mesmerized looking at him. A long standing joke is that everything (people, babies, pets) loves Stephen more. Stephen hasn't had a lot of baby experience so it was good to see him practice, even if it was just practicing holding my plate while I took care of baby ;) Lots of friends are having babies/have little ones so maybe we can get a practice diaper change in before July haha. Total Weight Gain: haven't stepped on the scale for a while- maybe 20ish

Maternity Clothes: yep

Stretch Marks: not yet

Sleep: interesting. I start on my side and wake up on my back. Arms are falling asleep during the night.

Best Moment This Week: seeing how much babies love the hubs

Miss Anything: not really

Movement: I'm growing a ninja! (or swimmer)

Food Cravings: nothing special- mostly "crave" things once someone mentions it...

Aversions: ugh smells- always the smells :( Gender: boy Labor Signs: too early! Belly Button: in Wedding Rings: on Exercise: swimming and walking Odin Mood: normal person status :) Looking Forward To: our babymoon next week!
