Cauliflower- Week 25
This week you are the size of a cauliflower! You measure 13.6 to 14.8 inches (that's over a foot long- crazy!) and weigh 1.5-2.5 pounds. Your nervous system is rapidly developing- giving you a sense of equilibrium, which way is up and which way is down. Returned back to work this week after the babymoon. Thankfully the sunburn wasn't too bad and only was painful for a day or 2 and didn't itch much at all. By the end of the week I had pretty much turned to tan and have only minor peeling left. Was a busy week just living life in Virgina- teaching massage and work. The weather is back to normal spring (no more snow) so all sports are outside making the afternoons quiet again. This week I went to my first Le Leche League meeting- it was not quite what I expected but it is nice to know there is a network there to help you when you are having issues.
Flew home on Monday March 31st and took advantage of pre boarding!
I think my nesting is starting to kick in a bit- that or we just really need to clean the house! I have been getting more and more organize- we got your dresser for our room this weekend. (No we are not doing a nursery) Appointments for maternity photos, meeting the pediatrician and the 34 and 37 week doula meetings have all been set. Those dates, June, seem so far away but they will be here before we know it! We have the majority of the things we need for your arrival- we need to order the pool and the birth kit and get everything in one place. A few other tedious things should be done- but that's what serious nesting is for ;)
